Poste proposé : Key Accounts Manager – Douala

MPower Cameroun SARL is a subsidiary of MPower Ventures AG which is a global for-profit start-up in the energy access area . We are looking for a Key Account Manager with entrepreneurial attributes to be based in Douala. This is an exciting opportunity in a fascinating and rapidly growing field and in a start-up environment. 

Key Responsibilities: 
Sales Development and Growth Strategy:

  • Formulate and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve ambitious sales targets in Douala and the Littoral Region.
  • Identify, prospect, and secure new key accounts, leading the entire sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure and contract negotiation.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, monitor market trends, and analyze competitor strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Develop sales forecasts and set achievable goals, tracking and analyzing performance metrics (KPIs) to provide regular, detailed reports to the Country Manager and recommend improvements.
  • Create and present compelling, tailored sales proposals and pitches for installation projects.

Distribution Channels and Network Management:

  • Build, develop, and manage a strong, high-performing network of sales agents in his/her geographical area of work.
  • Strategically develop and optimize distribution channels to maximize market reach and efficiency.
  • Ensure alignment of sales efforts with marketing and product teams to support channel partners and achieve collective objectives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for project customers and key stakeholders within the distribution network.

Strategic Partnerships:

  • Identify, evaluate, and establish strategic partnerships with businesses and organizations that complement MPower’s mission and accelerate market penetration.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Negotiate partnership agreements, ensuring favorable terms and mutual success.
  1. Operational Excellence and After-Sales Support:
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process and provide excellent after-sales support, promptly addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Oversee the timely collection of payments from clients and ensure accurate invoicing.
  • Ensure all sales transactions and operations comply with company policies and relevant regulations, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Proficiently utilize the CRM software (MPower’s Dashboard and Task Tracker) and sales analytics tools to manage sales activities and data.

Profil recherché pour le poste : Key Accounts Manager – Douala

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales management, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Experience in the Cameroonian market is highly desirable.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
