Poste proposé : IT Assistant – Yaoundé

We are seeking a dynamic and versatile IT Assistant to support both our technical operations (30%) and commercial and marketing activities (70%).The ideal candidate will have a strong IT background with at least 2 years of experience in technical support, combined with an interest in leveraging technology to enhance marketing, sales, and client engagement.This position requires excellent communication skills, technical problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to supporting business growth through IT-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Support (30%)

  • Provide first-level technical assistance to internal staff for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and office equipment (including CCTV and networking devices).
  • Manage user accounts, access controls, and ensure smooth network connectivity.
  • Maintain system backups, updates, and ensure IT assets are properly inventoried and functional.

2. Marketing and Sales Support (70%)

  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to optimize digital tools and systems (CRM, email campaigns, databases, etc.).
  • Assist in market research, lead generation, and client follow-up using digital platforms.
  • Contribute to the development of promotional content, presentations, and marketing analytics reports.
  • Provide technical support during marketing campaigns and events (e.g., digital setup, data collection tools).
  • Monitor online platforms and assist in maintaining company digital presence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a technical IT support role.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Basic knowledge of digital marketing tools (e.g., CRM systems, email marketing platforms, social media analytics).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying and solving problems.
  • Fluency in English (French is an asset).

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Experience with website maintenance or basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, WordPress, Photoshop).
  • Knowledge of data analysis tools or CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
