Poste proposé : ICT Teacher / Computer Scientist – Yaoundé
The Groupe Scolaire Bilingue LA GLOIRE, a nursery and primary school located in Nkolmesseng Petit Paris (Yaoundé), is recruiting a dynamic ICT Teacher / Computer Scientist to deliver practical ICT lessons to its primary school pupils.
Main Responsibilities:
GSB LA GLOIRE is seeking a motivated and versatile Computer Science Teacher whose main responsibilities will include:
- Teaching practical Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) lessons to pupils from CL1 to CL6 (office tools, digital literacy, logical thinking, educational tools).
- Supporting the teaching staff in digitizing teaching materials and integrating multimedia tools in the classroom.
- Managing and maintaining the computer lab and multimedia equipment.
- Contributing to the maintenance of IT equipment.
- Performing any other duties related to their technical skills (graphic design, audiovisual support, technical assistance, digital communication, etc.).
- Managing the school’s ICT Club.

Profil recherché pour le poste : ICT Teacher / Computer Scientist – Yaoundé
- Hold at least a GCE A Level / Baccalaureate, with a technical or academic background in Computer Science or any equivalent diploma (Bachelor’s degree, BTS, HND, DUT, etc.).
- Be aged between 21 and 35 years.
- Have a good command of office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), digital educational tools, and operating systems (Windows, Android).
- Experience in teaching or working with children is a major asset.
- Be rigorous, autonomous, patient, and able to work in a team and under pressure.
- Demonstrate good moral standing, stable physical health, and availability for the upcoming school year.
- Possess good pedagogical and communication skills with children.
- Ideally reside near Nkolmesseng for ease of transportation.
