Poste proposé : English-Speaking Primary School Teacher / Instructor – Yaoundé
We are seeking a qualified and motivated English-speaking Primary School Teacher/Instructor to join our educational team. This position involves planning and delivering learning activities tailored to primary school pupils in a dynamic and demanding educational environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction to young learners while complying with current educational standards. He or she will also be expected to manage the classroom effectively and collaborate closely with the teaching staff to foster a stimulating learning environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver lessons in accordance with the primary school curriculum;
- Assess pupils’ progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly;
- Maintain a positive and motivating learning environment;
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative educational projects;
- Participate in meetings and professional development activities;
- Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials;
- Ensure discipline, safety, and the well-being of pupils;
- Promote the values of discipline, hard work, and academic excellence.
Profil recherché pour le poste : English-Speaking Primary School Teacher / Instructor – Yaoundé
- Hold a General Education Baccalaureate or the General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level;
- Hold the CAPIEMP (Teacher Training Certificate);
- Be between 21 and 35 years old;
- Be available, of good moral character, and in good physical health;
- Previous teaching experience will be considered an asset.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong mastery of teaching techniques adapted to primary education;
- Ability to manage a classroom and provide individualized learner support;
- Excellent interpersonal and pedagogical skills;
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team;
- Proficiency in both digital and traditional teaching tools;
- Strong research and self-development abilities.
