Poste proposé : Business Development Manager – Bamenda

The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, expanding market presence, and driving revenue growth. The role involves building strong client relationships, leading business development initiatives, conducting market research, and creating strategies that support the organization’s long-term growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Business Growth and Strategy

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve organizational growth targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, markets, and revenue streams.
  • Evaluate market trends, customer needs, and competitive activities to inform business decisions.
  • Contribute to the development of strategic plans and growth initiatives.

Client Acquisition and Relationship Management

  • Identify, engage, and secure new clients and business partnerships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to close business deals.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.

Sales and Revenue Generation

  • Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline.
  • Lead contract negotiations and commercial discussions with clients and partners.
  • Achieve sales, revenue, and profitability targets.
  • Prepare business proposals, quotations, and tender documents.

Market Research and Analysis

  • Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and industry trends.

Reporting and Performance Monitoring

  • Prepare regular business development reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates.

  • Provide management with insights and recommendations to improve business performance.

Team Leadership and Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Finance, and other departments to support business objectives.
  • Mentor and support business development executives and sales teams where applicable.
  • Promote a culture of innovation, customer focus, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Economics, International Business, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, or Project Management are an added advantage.
  • 8–12 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Marketing, Account Management, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue growth and securing strategic partnerships.
